Exclusion is the act of intentionally singling out and leaving a person out from an online group such as chats and sites. The group then subsequently leave malicious comments and harass the one they singled out (“5 Different Types of Cyberbullying - End to Cyber Bullying Organization (ETCB)”, 2017).

Online isolation affects the victims similarly to real-life isolation. This usually hurts a little more because those are your friends in the group chat in the first place. Cyberbullying still can happen with people you consider friends with in real life.
